Well in Australia Stihl oil is made by castrol just like pretty much all Stihl oil outside the USA, not quite sure why Stihl has opti blend the oil in the states but they do vs having castrol make all of it. Husky xp in the USA was made by Phillips 66 and was an fd rated full synthetic oil.

You will be hard pressed to find a fully synthetic oil. Those marketed as such also contain Group 2 or 1 oils, for example. Here is an example taken from Husqvarna XP+ and XP SDS.

CAS 64742-54-7, CAS 64742-47-8, CAS 64742-65-0 are Group 2 oils. CAS 64742-46-7 is Group 1 oil. From the ingredients list, it appears that an oil that can be described as synthetic (regardless of court rulings) is at most around 30%. Anyway, Husqvarna refers to their oils as a 'synthetic blend'. This is also true of other oils from well-known companies. Nothing wrong with that. The most important thing is how the oil performs in practice in a specific application.

Did you replace carb? To get around reprogramming you can use the electronics off the old carb and put on the new one and save the new one Incase you ever need it. I do that all the time with no issues.
I had been pondering that didn’t want to waste the time and money on shipping. I need to replace due to heavy force trama and the solenoid is the only thing worth keeping aside from the strato butterfly

It was not my purpose to impose on someone the type of oil or the ratio used. You wrote that the manufacturer's recommended ratio is 33:1.
The current Husqvarna instructions for saws such as the 592 XP only mention 2% (1:50). Older versions of the manuals mentioned 1:33 (3%) for FB/ISO-L-EGB rated oils. It went like this:

And here's a quote from Husqvarna's website:

A fuel / oil ratio of 50:1 is recommended for all Husqvarna 2-stroke products.

Also consider;

50:1 (2%) fuel / oil mix ratio is recommended with the use of genuine Husqvarna two-stroke oil for best performance.

I didn’t take it as imposing, no hard feelings here in any way. I just used to see soo many broken down saws due to lean ratios, it’s up to the individual as we know but lots of misleading or maybe i should say unknown information is handed out by many sales people who don’t even use saws. I personally know husky reps who won’t run that ratio, there choice but they have reason. All good, my advice to new saw owners is go and speak to genuine engine builders ie preferably old school trained and in the game for tools on experience and choose an oil that gives its specifications- research here, and for peace of mind pull that muffler and check the bore, its all i can hope people do as it’s their hard earnt cash … we wonder why many go electric after a powerhead fails
