I recently bought my first husky 562xp it's a 2021 model, (got it from Bruce, great to deal with!) I'm liking it well so far....
My question is, how long do the new huskies take for brake in, as far as power / performance is concerned? I don't do anything special for brake in, just cut wood.
I did some cookie cutting head to head with my echo 620p and the 562xp the other day, and cut times were exactly the same, (same bar and chain on both saws), 20" bar, full comp chisel chain in 16" fresh cut white oak.
The echo has had probably 5 gallons thru it but the 562 had just one tank so far.
Both saws feel like they are running nice and strong, to my 35 years of (mostly Husqvarna) chainsaw experience.
Surly the husky should be faster than an echo of the same displacement.

Another bit of info;
I ran my ms400 (20+ tanks now) in the same log at the same time with same bar length, the results were; 8 seconds for the Stihl, and 10 seconds each for the 562 and 620
Oh yeah, all stock saws.

I'd say about 10-12 tanks for the 562 . The 572 seems to take a little longer IMO .

Okay, thanks guys.
I'll run a dozen tanks thru the 562 and compare them again.
