Yup that’s what I did to my 572xp. Slanted the exhaust side roof higher than the intake. Really made a difference. Didn’t necessarily make the saw faster, but I could lean on it more and when stalled it recovered easily. I prefer that type of power in a worksaw. I was inspired by what you and @huskihl were posting in the ported cylinder pictures thread.

Guesstimating the width of a 562 key way today, I thought I’d try a fuzz more advance knowing it was going to live with a 28 or 32” bar. The 3 I did last week were advanced about 4°. That’s about 3/16” of perimeter fw travel. I went to 8° on this one and it pops a little until it’s warmed up or loaded. Backed it off to 6°. About 1/4” of fw rotation
