Started working on a couple of "blown" early 562 for a friend. We got the top ends off and found piston and cylinder still in seemingly very good condition. We are on hold till we get a crankcase separator for the stuffer saws, but in the meantime we noticed that the case stuffers wiggle around some. We haven't noticed this on either of our 357's when we did our mods. Is this indicative of a bottom end issue?? It doesn't seem as though it would be a good thing for the stuffers to be loose/sloppy and jiggle a bit.

I’ve seen it on 357’s that I’ve had. It is odd but looking the whole system over it doesn’t stress me out much. If it’s bothersome squirt some motoseal or similar in there to anchor them.

I've rebuilt a couple 562s and I just bent the edges of the stuffers in a little so they grip the crank throws a little better. No problems as of yet and the two saws have a couple years of occasional use on them now.
