50ish CC problem

I have a 50ish CC problem. To many of them.
A Jonsered 2050 that stays on my work truck
A Husqvarna 55 I rebuilt last year with all new OEM top end and parts
A Husqvarna 351 I picked up last spring needs a little love but not wore out
A Husqvarna 350 I picked up as parts saw. low compression/ cheap top end 100psi

This is what I'm thinking. Put the top end from the 351 on the 350 and get rid of it. take the proceeds and purchase 346 OEM top end for the 351.

Sell the lot and get a 555?

I gave my brother a good, old, well used 351 several years ago. He loves it! I've offered to put a 346 top end on it, but he says, "no it's fine". I'll let him run a ported 346 one day and then we'll see.

I have to agree, a 346xp is just "one of those saws" you have to run to appreciate, when I go to cut firewood that's what I grab every time

I'd get the 555. I have a 346 for one day to become a 3 cube race saw. I hate using the floppy things in the woods.

It's the one saw I'll never be without and the one I use the most for the last 17 years.

i have ran ported 346 xp's i have nothing against them.

i use to have a 545 xtorq and preferred it over a stock 346 but don't get me wrong both are great saws.
i vote that you either get a 555 or 562xp since they are a few years in to productions im sure most of the bugs have been worked out of them from the factory.

Here I thought you only liked stihl Jake, my apologies. 545 is a great little saw, I have a friend who has a ported 1, great saws, I want a 550 myself.

All a matter of opinion.........when I got my 555, the 359 got sold. Not that I didn't like the 359 but the 555 just does everything better in my opinion.
