I want/need bigger dogs for my 462, but don’t want the large ones. My 362 has some smedium sized spikes that work great and still fits in the plastic Stihl case. Does Stihl or anyone offer a similar setup for the 462? I tried searching on here but couldn’t find anything.

Buy the dawgs from the 064.

If you have a half wrap clutch cover you'll need to give the outer a tiny rub..but they still line up and you can use the roller chain catch if you like.

On the west coast cover you don't need to..I don't know why.

On the standard R model dawgs I cut the bottom spike even with the other teeth. And like previously mentioned, it’s about right for hardwoods

Same on the 362. I had to space them out with a small washer or grind them a touch.

I bought the large ones & then put them on the grinder to shorten them all by about 1/2 in. The bottom one is no longer than the top 4 & was shortened by about 3/4 in.
