Gents,
Have an old, well not as old as Randy Wheel Horse garden tractor that's in need of a good deck.
It's a 1976 C-120 Hydro I've just finished rebuilding the K301 12hp engine on (piston and rings, rod, exhaust valve etc...) and am preparing to take down to Tennessee the next time we go so we can use it to mow around the house. The grass grows so crazy fast there and the only working machine there for that use now is a beat Craftsman lawn tractor that's held together by pine sap and bailing twine.
The Wheel Horse has a pretty rough 36" deck now that I'm not sure is worth even thinking of using, but if I'm not able to find a good 42" or 48" deck for it than we'll have to patch and paint it until one comes along.
Hoping someone in the general area here around Connecticut, or along the I-81 corridor down to I-40 and onward midway across Tennessee might have one or a line on one.
If so, please send me a note asap to mestimmel2@gmail.com and we can get to talking.
Here's a couple pics of the old girl, and one of the craftsman tucked in the corner of the shop behind the bushhog. Enjoy!
