I’d run that.So here’s what I came up with, used the acid then sanded on it. It is smooth should be ok. I just don’t want to take out too much. Like I said before I have a new p&c on the way, I’ll get a piston and maybe try porting this later on see if I can do it.
The plating is a LOT tougher that you’d imagine. Can you catch a pick or fingernail on anything? So here’s what I came up with, used the acid then sanded on it. It is smooth should be ok. I’d leave it in. They almost always leak under vacuum because they pull the valve in. Usually it can be held out by hand and it will hold. I wouldn’t want a 395 without a decompSo I stuck everything back together to do a vac test, was bleeding just a little so I pulled the decomp and no more leak. How’s everyone deleting this. Just plug it off or?
I meant without. I need to proofread better. My sorries
I don’t meet to sound arrogant, but I’ve never used it on my 395.I’d leave it in. They almost always leak under vacuum because they pull the valve in. Usually it can be held out by hand and it will hold. I wouldn’t want a 395 without a decomp
