Leave the cap loose so pressure will vent.

I used brake cleaner to spray into one that was oozing a little much. Crud was in and it wasn't seating so it was venting sitting in storage.

yeah, I did that with the tank vent, seems to be working as advertised now...dunno if that caused the leak or not

Old thread I know, found it whilst googling. My 395 used to leak a little sometimes, now it’s leaving huge puddles overnight. Any new input?

I used to store my saws just inside a window in a small uninsulated shed and all my saws would leak a lot of bar oil . (3 husky and 2 stihl ) . When I shifted house I now store them in a basement that is completely concrete so the temperature doesn't fluctuate at all and none of them leak now . I think its the bar oil expanding and contracting in the heat and cold . Just my findings
