365/372xt's brake bands

I picked up 2 low hour 365xt's, both have broken chain brake bands close to knee joint, in the same exact place. 2018 models. Was there a issue with these? Both are very low use hardly a scratch on them, not even much crude packed in the usual places. Never had one break even on a very well used and abused 2071 or any Stihl saws.

Yep same guy. Yeah, cheap fix. Can't imagine what the hell he was doing, probalbly slamming brake on wot. Must of did that more than he cut wood

Just did the transfer cover mod to a buddies 365xt and its near new, Band was broke in the same spot as you described.
