One shoe keeps kicking inward and binding on the drum…input appreciated.
The springs should have little "ears" to hold the shoes still. If they're not lined up or if the ears are busted off then that could cause your problem. It’s kicking in and dragging against the back side of the drum, not the ID
I've stolen a shim washer from another one to get some clearance, even if it didn't originally have one.Tapped it out and it seems ok now…no washer…gonna run it. I love this little saw. 20” 8 pin monster. View attachment 329379View attachment 329380View attachment 329381
I thought about it and still might, but it might put the shoes a little proud of the drum.I've stolen a shim washer from another one to get some clearance, even if it didn't originally have one.
