WANTED 351/353/346 or J-red equivalent crank shaft

Big end bearing needles look suspect in the one I just tore down. Need a good one for my piece of mind. Thanks.

If a 350 crank will work I should have one. Never had one side by side with a 353/346 mag case saw crank. Don't know for sure if they will interchange.

I have some of the clamshell cranks. I haven't laid them side by side but they don't share a part number.

Can't recall the number. Husky calls them "collars". The weed eater ones. I'll have the info in my thread. Theres a short one here a guy did on the 353, but not a lot of info and follow up.

Well, I think I have the crank problem solved. I had one with a little thread damage at the clutch end. I removed a slight amount off the end. Still plenty of thread engagement. I will still buy one if someone has one they're not using but I'm ok on this beater project. Don't split a case just for me.

Yup. I mentioned it to Brett back before I joined and he tried to revive it. I'm just curious is all. The wrench at my local shop did it to a 353 and I was un-impressed but I don't think he used all OEM parts.

I wonder if it would benefit from more intake? To me it seems it would be a good cookie cutter mod.

All I've done to the cylinder is open it up some. I didnt change timing. I want to see what the stuffers do.
