IMG_1911.JPG IMG_1911.JPG Selling my last 288 all my spare parts have been sold focusing on my 394/395 builds I haven't been inside this saw runs good and oils like a older husky someone repaired the full wrap see pic but it functions good and there is a crack on the high top cover and a small piece of cylinder fin is gone again see pic other then that just ask/ Looking for $325.00 pho and the ride is on the new owner

I think it's a Blitz 'gas and tool' can..they're very cool...all metal..top gas can, bottom section is a tool box.

As for the 288..I just bought a 272 and a 346 but I'm digging in the sofa, that's a great saw and a phenomenal price!

Stihl made logo'd fuel cans of the same design many years ago...someone here had one that they sent someone or coughed up in a raffle within the last year. Pretty nifty fuel can.
Now that you say that I'm pretty sure I remember that, maybe it wason another forum though.
If I recall it was on a small table in the picture.
Just checked out those gas and tool cans,I want one,looks very handy

That's right about the pic...I believe it was here on OPE though. Think I remember the guy saying 'vintage' Stihl fuel can. Don't know if Stihl makes them any longer or not. I'm sure someone out there is making a spin-off of it though.
