That ring gap seems pretty large to me. I could be wrong though.

Checked it closely with feelers. Was 0.46mm. Pretty sure that works out to be just over 18 thou.

Yeah it's not really like normal paper. It is more like a thick magazine cover type material. And I put Motoseal on both sides too which has worked very well for me previously. Will be keeping my eye on it though as I always do.

What sort of compression numbers do you think I'll see with a new ring @rattler?

I use a scalpel (exacto) on the inner circle. Various size hole punches on the pulse ports and mounting holes, and just scissors to cut around the outside. Obviously just used the original to trace the template. Have done a few before. Doesn't take much time at all.
