Anybody have any rubber AV mounts sitting around? I think I'm going to go all rubber on my new-to-me 288 Lite.
I believe there are am rubbers out there. I probably have some but not a full setAnybody have any rubber AV mounts sitting around? I think I'm going to go all rubber on my new-to-me 288 Lite.
I think I have a couple laying around. I’m out of town till March. If you don’t find enough by then? Get ahold of me.Yeah, I was looking at the aftermarket ones. I just figured I'd see if there were used OEM ones floating about.
I have some of both. It seems the am companies copied the 'H' versions.I like the am one's I used on 288s more firm than OEM
Oe have an "H" or "S" on the metal endare there harder and softer versions? How does one tell ?
Most am seem to be the hard version but after contacting several sellers, they are pretty cluelessOe have an "H" or "S" on the metal end
I’ve got two used spring buffers. Most am seem to be the hard version but after contacting several sellers, they are pretty clueless
Springs seem to be the way to go.
I likes me some sproingsI’ve got two used spring buffers.
You can put standard rubbers up front. Just use the self-tap type,I likes me some sproings
I run 4 in the back and two rubber in the front IIRC.
Also @Stump Shot found some limiter thingies for the front I think he put on one he did for me, but I haven’t pulled it apart to see ‘em.
I was able to replace the broken spring AV with an NOS one, so that whole saw is running on nothing but springs, much like a modern saw.I likes me some sproings
