I need a new piston for my 262xp with KS cylinder. I can get a new OEM at my local dealer for about $120, but the price is pretty high.
Duke's have piston with "perfomance coating", and LilRedBarn with popup, and there's Meteor. Any opinions?

Nothing like oem.....meteor second. Dukes are okay. If you don't feel the saw is worth an oem or used oem piston and new rings than go with a Duke.
Stay away from lilredbarn. They are for shelf queens and to hear a couple revs every now and again

Not many options, LRB dont get much praise but are the only cheap alternative.
Ccc have "performance pistons".
I wonder if you could turn down a 52mm am piston and file the rings for the correct gap..?
