I had a 22 hornet rifle at one point. But stop using it when I was gifted a 22 mag and I’ve got two ruger mark 2 that are wonderful plinkers. I’m wondering if anybody has a decent 22 hornet pistol, or even rifle? The one I had was a single shot. I’ve got a few hundred rounds. Stuff is super pricey but is so accurate! My mark 2s are also, hard letting any ammo go right now but if I’m not going to use it. I know there’s some conversations but I’m not going to mess with that.

I had a model 54 win. in .22 hornet many years ago. One day driving down a country road I saw crow in a tree and pulled into a field drive, loaded the 54 and snugged down along the front fender of my 56 Merc. with the rifle over the hood & peered thru the k8 Weaver & touched one off, too my surprise the crow flew off.
It wasn't till I was back on the road that I saw the bullet crease across the bottom of the windshield.

I've got a Savage .22 Hornet that my Grandpa bought brand new at Montgomery Wards in 1939. We used to have the original receipt and paperwork for it but that
got lost when my Grandma died. I'm gonna do an amateur restoration on it later. It even has the original "telescopic" sight that came new on the rifle.

I think Taurus made a revolver in .22 Hornet, called the Raging Hornet.

That’s great! When you get a chance, pm me a few pictures please. I’ve always been a fan of savage original firearms! Are they revolver chambered guns?

Yes, the Taurus Raging Hornet is a revolver.

I shot a keltec 30-22 when it first came out. I think I didn’t buy it because it felt cheap or I thought it was an other hi-point. I got word from a friend, they are quality, look a little weird but shoot straight. 30x 22mag is nothing to shake a stick at

Kind of small? Bet you get some wicked kickback lol. Must be accurate! My model 48 with 6 inch barrels are pretty good. I might keep one?
Just a pic I found on the web, I bet they are pretty accurate. Never was much of a Taurus guy, but I’d try one

I have a 10" barrel for my T/C Contender in .22 hornet. It's nice, but has terrible sights on it. I need to find a decent red dot and mount it on there.

Nice! I almost had a deal for a Taurus but it fell threw. I’m just going to dump the hornet ammo. I only want to have a few pieces so I don’t need to worry about finding ammo.
