2159/ 2156 top end

well I have a 2159 that I have done a muffler mod, base delete and widened the exhaust slightly. I always seem to be looking for more power on everything I own. if I put a 2156 (357) top end on it will there be a power increase? will it be worth it?

Probably a little over the 359 cylinder.

Did you open the lower transfers up? There is quite a little gains in doing that

No I haven't I have also thought about taking the top end off and grinding on the transfers and the exhaust a little more

The lower trans on a 359/2159 are pretty choked up. I think you'll need a T-25 security bit to get the transfer covers off.
