Do they ship to the U.S.?You can get a chainbrake/cover for this 2101xp for a reasonable price. https://chainsawpartsworld.com/prod...3E63Vgrn-c_-vjmJ0_3wjYy7PU9zU7UTuk0WNB1WwLHBQ
I sent them an email inquiry - when they respond I’ll let you know. I wood think they do but the shipping might be more than the part itself ! Point is : the product IS available.Do they ship to the U.S.?
And it IS just an aftermarket 288 cover that you could just go and find on eBay.
That particular chain brake cover that you linked to IS for a 288. Do you see what I’m saying? You are looking at a 288 cover. There is nothing special about the cover that you linked too, other than that the Chinese mislabeled it.So … IF someone wants a chainbrake cover for this 2101xp it is available and can be shipped to the USA… I can order it but the price will increase accordingly
Looks like a standard aftermarket 281/288 cover to me...
A 288xp cover will have the brake flag waaaay too close to the handlebar!Because it is! It's common to modify a 288 chain brake cover to fit a 2100.
A 272 cover will fit a 288 as well, I bought a 181 with a 272 cover on it and it had the same ugly gaps at the back.Because it is! It's common to modify a 288 chain brake cover to fit a 2100.
I highly doubt it's been modified in any way other than a bit of clearancing on the cover's edges. A 395 flag is the same as a 288 flag, a 272 flag is far closer to the handlebar, and there isn't any other flag I can think of that mounts/fits that way.Correct ! The key word here is modify!
