Do they ship to the U.S.?
I sent them an email inquiry - when they respond I’ll let you know. I wood think they do but the shipping might be more than the part itself ! Point is : the product IS available.

Nope , A 288xp won’t fit. U need a chainbrake assembly from a 1100,2100,298 or a 380 and you also need the clutch drum size 84 or 88mm Good luck on eBay ! They want a small fortune for just about anything chainsaw related!

So … IF someone wants a chainbrake cover for this 2101xp it is available and can be shipped to the USA 🇺🇸… I can order it but the price will increase accordingly

That particular chain brake cover that you linked to IS for a 288. Do you see what I’m saying? You are looking at a 288 cover. There is nothing special about the cover that you linked too, other than that the Chinese mislabeled it.

Because it is! It's common to modify a 288 chain brake cover to fit a 2100.
A 272 cover will fit a 288 as well, I bought a 181 with a 272 cover on it and it had the same ugly gaps at the back.
Correct ! The key word here is modify!

A 288xp cover will have the brake flag waaaay too close to the handlebar!
I highly doubt it's been modified in any way other than a bit of clearancing on the cover's edges. A 395 flag is the same as a 288 flag, a 272 flag is far closer to the handlebar, and there isn't any other flag I can think of that mounts/fits that way.

I dunno...the pic they have for the 288 on that site looks pretty different:

The 2100 is on the left.

Or was it the right?

Ok … I’m trying to sell a saw here - can we give it a rest with the chain brake already? Thanks 😊

The reality is that the more posts you get in the thread, the more often it jumps to the top, which means that more people will see it.

If you really want to sell this thing, start talking about what oil you used in it, and at what ratio.
