I picked this up recently with a few others and have decided to send it off. From a look over tonight it is complete less starter.
I did pull it down to check jug and piston. The piston just started to transfer. I cleaned jug with 240 grit by hand and it is fine. Piston, I also cleaned the same and I feel it is serviceable. The piston is still at .003-.004" to the bore. Both may need a tad finishing.
Big end looks good and crank bearings spin and have no play.
I do believe the demise of this saw was the rings with low comp. Both rings gapped at way over .035" which is the largest feeler I have.
The top cover is cracked out at the plug along with the filter cover. I have numerous other filter covers and mufflers which I will show in the pics. These could be plastic welded but wont be psp material. I have many other parts for 2100 if buyer finds they are needing something. Shoot me an offer shipped from 16641.
