I'm needing another top handle to fill in between my ms150/271t to the ms200t/t540xp or so I think... I've never ran a 193t how are They? Will they pull a 16"bar? It won't be used 8 hours a day just on trees where the spar is just to big for the 150... anyone have the real weight of one?

They are best with a 14" bar.

We've got one as a back up to the back up MS200T, but the 193 doesn't get used.

For the money, I'd rather have a 355T ECHO.

When these 200Ts can't be rebuilt anymore, that's what will replace them.

I had a 355t good saw... guess I could get another. Is the 193 close to the power of a 355t?

I agree, best with a 14" bar. Out of the box the 193T is a little plugged up- the early ones still had the small muffler outlet that needs to be opened up, and the intake is pretty restricted. Compression though is 170 psi on a new saw (125 psi on the older 192TC) and they have made some improvements. Still a 30cc saw.

My scale says 8.0 lbs power head only, with gas and oil.

A 355T will Smoke a 193T.

355 will whoop on a 193.
Yessir.

Sounds like you all agree a CS355T is a superior saw.

I've had a 330T Echo for quite a while now, it seems to be a good saw but felt front heavy with the 16" bar so I went down to a 12.

i guess from the lack of a bucking spike when i acquired the saw and this saw had high hours on it from a local tree service in town.

That makes sense: really it does.

Any other response & I'd of wondered about your love for ECHOs, but that does make sense.

it ran a 8 pin with that 18'' bar pulled it no problem not the fastest but damn reliable and always started in 1-2 pulls.
