I know the farmboss's were set lean. I saw my neighbors 088 AF cover was marked 1/2 and 1/4 I think??? Is those one of those times I need to pull the limiters and richen up the carb?

Saw just got a new OEM cylinder and $300 in other parts. Don't want it failing prematurely.

Where should a stock 088 be set to? 1 and 1???

I would likely start with 1 & 1. Was it a fuel system-related failure that led to a rebuild?

From the Stihl 088 service manual:
"H = Open high-speed screw one full turn. L = Open low-speed screw one full turn. A slight correction may be necessary if the saw is used at high altitudes (mountains) or at sea level...

... Maximum engine speed at off-load with properly tensioned chain = 12,000 rpm."

Thanks guys. I should have assumed the 1:1 rule but just wanted to make sure before messing with a carb on a big expensive saw. I'll call the owner and adjust it tonight.
