046 jug on 10mm 044?

anyone want to trade a clean 044 10 mm cylinder for an 046 cylinder? I was thinking of doing a conversion,but dont have the skills

The jug itself would fit on there with some clearance work. But your not gunna find a 52 mm piston with a 10mm wrist pin

No. Otherwise the 044/046 hybrid wouldn't be possible.

They do make a 10mm 044 big bore kit. I think you would need to use that 52mm aftermarket piston to use the oem ms460 cylinder.

I read about the guy who started the Saegenspezi company, it says he used to be a stihl engineer and has all his aftermarket parts made by the original manufacturers, but without any stamps or identifying marks.
I ordered parts from there and they showed up within a week. The shipping is confusingly fast. Lol

Excellent send me some pics in om and i will likewise.i wouldnt do it any other way.also has a 10 mm meteor piston with it in excellent condition.i switched it for a ks cylinder i had.it came off a running saw thats my personal.
