044 Conrod movement

hi everyone,
How much sideways and up down movement is allowed in an 044 conrod
Or for that matter any chainsaw...
is the a general rule ?

Up and down should be zero. Sideways they can move a little since it isn't as wide as the big end.

It's hard to tell by pulling and pushing up and down. Try twisting it. Shouldn't twist much at all
