Does anybody know where I can get the orange silicone diaphragm that's in the fuel cap? It's not listed in the IPL, and it's the only thing wrong with this cap (is got a split in it). I'd rather not put an AM cap on it if I can help it, but as of now, it leaks just barely when on it's side.

If you can get a measurement of the diameter of it I have a few random Stihl flappers floating around, maybe one of them would fit.

It looks like it's right at 5/8" (actually .615) in diameter, and has this kind of tail on it. The above measurement is what I got on the silicone, not the white plastic (the white plastic is .639 where it presses into the black cap, middle step). I accidentally finished it off trying to get it out.

Perfect, I just brought all my saw boxes back home, so I'll see if I've got a match here shortly.

Not sure if this helps or not..? I think I have one somewhere, because I brought 2 when I was replacing mine. Just incase I fugged one up installing it and thus saving on time and postage

I could be wrong, but isn’t that thing in some fuel tanks.. but it maybe a different size & somtimes stihl change part #

Dad has an 041 farm boss. LOUD and HEAVY but, can sit for long periods of time and a couple rips on the cord and she's running. Good old saw and a fun saw to run every once in a while (feels nostalgic) plus the lack of a chain brake makes you really feel like a man haha. A nice saw to hand to your buddy when his saw stops running... I've got an 031av on the bench right now. Tinkered with it a bit yesterday. Rip cord was broken, fixed that and now on to a no spark issue.
