Yes I do see I am running a bit rich, earlier in the week I felt the life give out of a 357 in my hands as it leaned out, call me gun shy.

on the inner baffle i just drill the biggest hole i can in the center.start small and drill bigger with a step bit.

Working on the exhaust side will produce more gains than any thing else .With a 2 cycle and differential pressures you have to work backwards .If it can't get out it can't get in .

Where I'm at fire is no problem as it would take a napalm drop to set these hardwoods ablaze .No screens .Total area of the muffler holes about 80-85 percent of the exhaust port much over that only produces noise not power .

The 038mag 2 I owned and sold 3 times and just bought back was a factory triple port. Two ports on chain side, and one on starter side. Only thing I did is remove that internal baffle. Now it barks real nice
