036 Pro Carb Screws

My new to me 036 Pro has 3 ports in the plastic handle for 3 carb screws, but has only 2 screws in the carb.
Is there a better or upgraded carb that I should get?

Can’t say that I’ve ever seen a 036 carb that only had 2 screws.
@toolmaker can you post a picture or 2 of the carb?

I also only know carburetors with LA, L and H screws on the 036. Maybe you`ve lost one screw? Show us a picture please.

The PRO’s have limiters that extend pretty far out into the Grommet.

Usually white and Red and very apparent.

The big LA hole has a screw in there, it’s just black and deeper inside. It’s gotta be there, or it’s lost and your saw wouldn’t idle.

The saw idles and runs fine.
Will post pics of the carb later.

OK, here is a pic of the carb. You're right, the screw is snapped off. No way I can get it out.
The carb is a zama.
What is the best carb for this saw, and does someone have one thew y want to sell?

They all run fine.

The eBay knock off carbs are supposed to be made on the same line as the oem carbs. They used to even say “Zama” on them.

‘The fastest 036 I ever built runs a $20 China carb. I have a Tilly 43b on my own 036 which is supposed to be the ultimate carb-it runs the same as the others and is super hard starting.

I have Old 036 Zama’s here if you need one.
