Seen a few of your saws in action on the interwebz, some good runners for sure.
Thanks! They ain't no race winners. But I like to think most are respectable work saws. Still try to learn everyday.. this forum is a great resource.

Nice shop. Do you do anything to overcome the air intake problems?

Not on somthing like this... I'm just shooting for a nice pulling firewood saw. Only mods not pictured are a 6 degree timing bump and a healthy muff mod.

What’s stock ignition timing on a saw like this? Just curious.

To be honest I'm not sure of the exact curve on one. I'm sure someone around here knows. I do know they are not hot like a 361. Definitely a saw that benifiets from a bump. (Trial and error) I've only done 4 or 5 of these and never dug that deep... Just going off sound and feeling.

Im just starting to explore timing advanced, (I definitely know when there is too much) .
I have a good running 034S and wondered if a timing bump would help? Thanks for the heads up.

034 will like it.. try starting around 5 degrees or .020 .. I know timing curves on some saws but most I just do by sound and feel. You'll start to hear it in time.
