An update to the velocity stack installation on my Mofo 026. The 3D printed plastic elbow did not last for long......maybe it was the vibrations or the fuel, I do'nt know, the plastic cracked and it broke after a short time :( Back to the drawing board !
I have now have the same elbow cast in aluminium, looks much better , and is a more stable installation than the plastic elbow.
It was a bit costly, but thats the way it is some times. It is made by plaster casting, a method where a model is printed in a kind of plastic, put into a mould of plaster, the plastic melted away, and finally the item is cast in aluminium.
Very nice end product, used by many companyes for making prototypes and done here in Denmark in 10 days.
Work perfect now, very happy about the complete installation. :)

If I would have brought this saw as modified to a GTG three years ago, I would have been served either a burnt steak at the cookout or a couple of extra beers that night. I'm not sure which one.
