Price is the biggest difference about double. The 9000 is around $24 a quart with 7000 $12 or $40.95 for a gallon. The 7000 mixes well...

9000 doesn't burn very clean in Lawnboys, beyond that I cant say. Nor can I think of a reason to use a marine oil in a chainsaw.
