I spent an entire winter once cutting all my firewood with a Poulan 2100 and a 16" bar, so I'm not qualified to refute anything. -
Well I put it together today. Welder set at 200A, wasn’t particularly trying to make it pretty but it wasn’t too bad.

Done that…didn’t quite get the crank completely seated on one side…oops. Disassemble and redo…problem solved.

But the 462's are suffering from what seems vibration cracks, that start under the flywheel and radiate outwards towards the coil
