So what did you buy today

I have been looking for something just like that with a remote hose. Do you have a link?

Any Chinese chainsaw and chinese parts discussion

Wow that is interesting on the clone 180 conrod. I remember taking apart a 170 for the first time and seeing that RC Airplane looking conrod. I was like....uh is this the OEM crankshaft?

So what did you buy today

@Lions fan - Thank you! I sold my 2018 Colorado Z71 during the truck price craze and bought this with the cash I made on it. It's 2004 z71. I am the second owner.

So what did you buy today

Birthday present to myself. I've done the sand & polish thing to probably a dozen vehicles with great results, but I found these really high quality remakes for a heck of a good price. Almost half off on Amazon. Brand is TYC and they even came with Sylvania bulbs installed. The fit was perfect...

@Czed - good info! I was wondering that myself on the weight difference.

    WANTED Zama c3m parts

I agree on the OEM carbs being a steal - I purchased one from that seller you linked a couple months back. Question - so is the AM one you linked an actual "twin jet" though? That would be kinda a big deal if so!

So what did you buy today

I bought a couple of slim lighters for under $10, hoping they are constant flame type. Like a zippo, that doesn't need a button held down to keep the flame going. I am not a smoker, but I seem to always need a lighter on hand. I like zippo's, I just want something less bulky in the pocket. Here...

So what did you buy today

I love finding new old stock stuff.....but that is on another level of cool!!! I have my eyes on one now, just to have for display. Thanks for sharing it and a pic of it on the saw. I didn't know about the "straddle scratcher" chain, so that is interesting too....I went down a rabbit hole and...

Older Lawn Boy Push Mower Idles Really Slow

@stretch5881 - is correct on the carbon in the exhaust port. It's regular maintenance on these and no big deal especially since when taking the blade off to give it a good sharpen, you are most of the way there to the exh ports. I do my exh ports once a season on the 1994 Lawn Boy 10515. When I...

Lets talk new saws vs old iron

Nice @heimannm The pictures certainly speak for themselves.

What to look out for on the 440 kit?

This is a super late reply sorry - But I have not had a lick of trouble with the crank or oiler in mine. It puts out bookoos of oil, plenty for a 28. Only trouble I have had was clutch springs. I replaced all the clutch springs with OEM and it's been fine.

    What's on your bench?

The Redmax EBZ8500 backpack blower saga for my lawncare friend has come to an end. A good end though. I cleaned up the cylinder and deburred the new AM piston aggressively since the cylinder was not in the best shape. I wanted to give it the best chance possible to run another season. The...

    Husqvarna 562XP - A Tale of Woe

Necessary or not, I don't think omission is the best way to approach an issue like this. It clearly has left a lot of confusion in it's wake has it not?

    Husqvarna 562XP - A Tale of Woe

@Mastermind @Duke Thieroff - Yes all true...but I was talking about the general confusion on the matter. People think it's important and are doing it anyways, but incorrectly. How many threads, facebook posts, people piss revving their saws for a min straight could be cleared up with an...

    Husqvarna 562XP - A Tale of Woe

Does the official Husqvarna website not have a video posted showing how to do an auto tune reset? Thats just silly of them, if they don't....In my opinion. Why leave something that important up to the general public to decide and potentially screw up, giving their brand a bad reputation.
