I was getting paid $40/cord in the 80s to cut Almond and Walnut. Wood sold for $70/cord direct from the orchard…U-haul. -

The XL was my Dad's too. Still have it, still runs, doesn't get any use. I was selling cordwood back then for$40/cord delivered.
