    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

Some girls faint over Michael Jackson The 564 fervor is real. I acutually fainted on my first attempt to pre-order the 564. For just a moment, I pictured that electronic fuel injector pulsating and spraying a mist of fuel and chainsaw noises and spruce limbs scraping my nipples and I just hit...

Cold weather-cold starting 550 xp autotune

It is currently 30 below zero here in interior Alaska and my echo cs 620pw and cs 590 are starting up no problem past few days. The cs 4910 ( 501p with plastic handle) is starting no problem as well. Maybe sell the saw and get something that works with no finnicky bllsht.

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

Wow, I never knew about these steel pocket liners on the 620/590. With that freakishly long stroke, always wondered why the dmn things dont grenade in multiple pieces when you free rev em to 13-14k rpms. Glad to see Husqvarna and Stihl putting effort into torquey 60 cc saws. These are what I...

    $200 logger boot shootout

Sorry I missed this. 2002-2010 was the years I was stationed here in Alaska in the Army. Boot of choice then was military issue bunny boots. 2011-2014 I had switched to sorrel intrepid explorer. These are essentially a cloth style mukluk. Since sorrel are so cheap nowadays, they no longer offer...

    Carburetor talk - fuel puddling

It is winter time and im surprised nobody hasn't mentioned the issues that come from cold weather ops. All Carburetors like warm air. There are over 2 dozen carburetors on various pieces of equipment around my homestead. They all get finicky in this constant 20-30 below zero weather. I wonder...

    Grease Monkey Garage

What year s10? I wonder if a little lubricity and detergent in the fuel helped those little poppet valves open and close more efficiently. They're subjected to heat and carbon build-up. In my old vortec 350/305/4.3 vehicle manual, you were supposed to run a fuel cleaner to keep these little...

Why would anyone put this sht in their gas?! A balmy 24 below zero it won't even pour from a jug. Lucas upper cylinder bubble gum:

    SELLING Dolmar 143

Wow, nice ole saw Shane! Good work. You ALWAYS build/fix a saw before you sell. Mad respect for your hard work. Your prices are always fair. Some guys on here just lazily flip broken, clapped out sht that they never fix.

A balmy 1 degree positive, swapped in a new water pump in the 7.3 powerstroke, degas bottle, degas bottle hose, thermostat, thermostat housing and lower radiator housing. Now it's 23 below zero, so dodged that bullet! I REALLY like the Flowkooler, machined/anodized impeller designs. This is my...

    treemonkey stuff

Tree Monkey question: If 2 identical saws were ported: same exauhst roof same transfers same intake timing. One saw had .040 squish and more timing advance Other saw has .020 squish and less timing advance. How differently would the two saws run? Could someone even tell the difference?
