Kid up road texted me that his 562 died in the cut and now won’t start.
It wouldn’t start for me either.
Checking spark I found the plug very loose and since it was finger tight I pulled it the rest of the way.
Hope the rest of it shot right into the muffler.
Compression does seem a little low...
This is a big old maple my in laws had taken down.
Started as a sapling my FIL’s father planted from the woods behind the house while my FIL was building the house in 1962.

Didn’t come with a coil.
AM coil. Noticed the back post was partly stripped but went with it anyway until after about a tank through it died while sideways. Wouldn’t start but would catch/fire and not run

New to me box on the bench.
Grabbed it next to a FREE sign up the road.
And it wasn’t quite empty.
Place to keep saw tools close.
Cleaned up pretty well with a little Gunk degreaser.

I came across this 272 and couldn’t pass on it.
It looks to have a bad seal on the FW side and has a tiny amount of xfr
I’m leaning towards running it and see how it goes, after some soft goods make over.
