The original gasket is long gone so I had to make one, that's why I can't remember if the original gasket compensated for the hole in the carb.

The mating part is the intake manifold, the gasket kit doesn't show a hole in the gasket but I'm wondering if the cut out is large enough to include the hole in the carb?

Any idea what this small hole is for ? Should it be left open in the gasket or can it be covered over?

The carb I have is definitely Mikuni and is different from the Briggs but may fit. I cleaned the Mikuni and reinstalled it but wanted to find the model number so I could order parts for it on-line. The run cap is also cooked and they don't make that any longer so I have to install another larger...

Sears shows the ipl for this discontinued model but don't list the model of carb.

Remove the spark arrestor and adjust the carb.

I've milled many boards with a chainsaw mill and ended up buying a bandsaw mill. I kept the chainsaw mill for remote locations but have not used it in years.

It has come out on my 262 but the saw has been around a long time so I can't complain about it.

I don't know why they fall out, I put a little loctite on the last one that fell out on my saw. Cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and put loctite on it before reinstalling it.
