    Jotul F3 - glass slipping?

I reached out to Kingdom Wood Stoves, he's something of a stove encyclopedia. He confirmed glass slipping is common on somme F3's, and some later stoves have a spot for an extra clip in that area but mine never did, so I think Jotul prepped the casting to support it in case it became an issue -...

Wildly successful. I started in Customer Service and we'd get people saying things like 'I'm missing a LEGO from my megabloks set' all the time. That's part of what really got the lawyers going.

    Jotul F3 - glass slipping?

Hmm it looks like like there’s something there in the photo then in person. Might hit it with an ez-out and see what happens…

I’ve been through brand compliance training a bunch of times. The lawyers like us to capitalize it because it uniquely identifies it as a brand and product helping to avoid the qtip/bandaid issue where a brand becomes synonymous with a product in the eyes of the law. Critical to retaining IP...

    Jotul F3 - glass slipping?

Here's the spot. I've got faith in it. ;) I haven't been able to find posts anywhere of people with glass slipping, so I'll try some vibratite hotlock on the screws first and see if the 1/4 turn they are backing out is the issue, and try this next.

    Jotul F3 - glass slipping?

No idea what ro-da-dies is. Common sense is sorted, I lack experience with cast and heat outside of the kitchen. I was going to start with a heat tolerant threadlocker to reduce the tiny bit of backing out.

    Firewood saw

2 is bare minimum for getting wood. 1 is heading to the grocery store. Last score I got a cord of ash and used all three saws I brought. Hit a huge chunk of metal second cut on the 2171, so I picked up the XPW.

    Jotul F3 - glass slipping?

Are stoves fair game to chat about here? I've got a Jotul F3CB I've had installed for the last 2 years and it's been a great stove for our house and family. We went from 2.5 tanks of oil to less than 1/4, while burning ~3 cord. When I got the stove it was in rough shape, I fully broke it down...

    Firewood saw

When I get firewood it's often a tree or two I'm aware of on family land, a marketplace "take away this tree that the town/arborist took down" or a friend sending a pic of a tree they need removed, so I have a pretty good idea of the situation and size of the wood I'm getting into. When I first...

We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing. I'm 35, and have played with LEGO bricks every week at least briefly since I was 6. (I've also worked at The LEGO Group since I was 19 so...)

    Builder’s favorite build?

My 2006 2UZ 4Runner has 235000 miles on it, 6,000 of them (roughly) are aired down traversing VT, NH, ME class 4/6 roads, and local trails in MA. I've towed up to 5000 lbs with it, parked it for 3 months, then fire it up, load it with gear and head straight into the woods for a week of wheeling...

I think they are really nice looking parts but the price point is tough to swallow. If you buy a muffler mod from the typical porters and fabricators they are generally $80ish, so when I was looking for a nicer muffler for my ported 372XPW I hit up Mastermind and saved the $95. That said, I see...
