    HUSQVARNA HUSQVARNA THREAD

I picked mine up for $5, only had two tanks of gas run through it and three chains, this was the first saw this person bought and they didn't realize that chains stretch. They threw the first chain, bought two more Tri-Link chains and really cranked them down, ran them until dull. Returned the...

    HELP! eBay payment issue

I just got something through eBay/Paypal the other day without issues, I have not seen that before. I do all my transactions through my computer, have not tried it on my phone. It is possible there is an issue with the app on your phone (either needing an update or the company needs to fix a...

    HUSQVARNA HUSQVARNA THREAD

I agree, the 500 is a cool idea and I know people who own them and even those that get them ported really like them, but the only way I will probably get one is if I find a broken one at the dump. I have found that I really like the pre-2000 saws. I find them especially fun to work on!

Just from the few pictures the plastics look really good and stated it has minimal use - I am assuming by the current owner, not necessarily those before them. Definitely worth looking at!

I would guess that it would snake around the right side of the liner (circled in red) and the fuel filter would rest underneath it. This to me would seem to allow the filter to move around a bit, but not bang around the fuel tank and allow it to help maximize use of fuel in the tank rather than...

    Sealant or not?

    Yes it is!

    Sealant or not?

You might try the aviation form-a-gasket, if you goof, its cleans up easy, if you need to take the saw apart in the future it helps prevent the gasket from sticking and used on both sides of the gasket will help to fill in any unevenness...

    lx178

I wonder if something on the spark train warms up as it starts and gets to the point that it expands to the point where metal is touching or spread apart too far to keep the spark going and when it cools, it is closer to where it should be and can start back up again. On a chainsaw I would guess...

    Sealant or not?

I use aviation form-a-gasket (Permatex) for gaskets (both sides), I think I have the red permatex I use with clamshells. If you have the elbow connector and sleeve (in good condition) you should not need any sealant. I have had and worked on a bunch of these style saws and if those parts are in...

Do you have a part number or a saw that uses it that I can look up on an IPL to see what the part is?

What to look for in parts saw

I carried my passports in a slip cover that said either Hungary or Slovakia with their seal....really caused second looks when on the train or at a border.
