261 all day long. Bought mine and loved it so much that I bought a second one. Was lucky and caught the good drf256 in a mood to port one so I sent him the first one and it is now my go to saw for 90% of all my needs. I will be using it today in a 90 foot hickory that tried ( kinda did ) to take...
Had drf256 put the MOFO on my 261CM and have been using it about a year no so I thought I'd report in with the results . It's AWESOME . Best money I ever spent on a saw . Cuts like a demon and never misses a lick . I use the .325 RS with an 18" Sugihara bar and an 8 pin and it will keep up with...
Al is a big fan of the 462 M Tronic saw . He ported my 261 CM and it's a bear. He also advised me to get a 462 CM for my heavier work because of the great power to weight ratio. If I were buying a new mid weight saw I would take that advise .
Patch is half American Bluetick and half English Bluetick . Have to keep him chained or he goes off hunting for a month at a time . Been that way since he was 8 months old . I'm the only one who can take him off a tree without getting bit . He is tree possessive as hell for some reason .
Read this . I now own this saw and it is an absolute beast . This one is not ported . Drf256 said this particular saw would not gain that much from porting it since the original ports were so good . That said , I'm with Ryan Browne on the milling angle , go bigger than the 044 . + his other...
Needs a clutch side cover before I would even run it . My youngest son got snagged on one like that at work , it eat the front off of his britches . Only thing that saved him was he had swiped my short handled scrinch and had it in his front pocket , chain stopped when it hit the metal .
My 272 is 23 years old and has leaked bar oil into its case for exactly that many years . My 40 something year old Stihls seem never to leak . No idea why , never worried about it just learned to live with it .
Thats Tittie pictures with no titties . Moderation in all things I guess .
+its now only 15 cases of teenie weenies , seems chimps cant resist them , in moderation of course .
