FWIW to people in my region, Kwik-Fill (united refining) is clear. Rutter's EF90 (top tier) is pale yellow/amber.

It should be clear. Yellow could mean several things. It could be oxidized or it could have some diesel blended into it(pretty common).

I think the yellow is detergent additives and stabilizers, they will put in dye to emphasize this as well . Straight distilled gasoline...

I’ve seen it here as well. Last year their E free was yellow and the last couple times I bought it it was clear

Most of my saws have muffler mods. I always double up, foam plugs and muffs. Some foam plugs are damn near worthless.
