I'm using a SuperSplit. I've filed the top of the wedge corner blunt after occasionally back handing it and pealing some skin. I guess I should be wearing gloves. The leading edge is factory finish, which is not sharp, but not rounded like a dull pencil either.

Edit: My sharpening has taken a huge bump in improvement this year, attributed to the vise, Stihl 2-1 file system, and Buckin-Billy Rae YouTube videos, about "getting the gullet". He also indicates the teeth do not have to be all the same length to cut straight, which I've found to be true.

I saw a youtube video sometime back with a Husqvarna version that hinges out of the way when not needed.
