Yes, i have a 460 pump in my 362, had to actually turn it down a bit with the 20" bar that i was running, oil was dripping out of everywhere after a cut LOL

It really doesnt matter, as the saw self limits the rpm with a secondary rev limiter, so it is cooling and adding extra oil on the non-ignition event strokes. If the saw doesnt have a reset done, in the course of 10-20 cuts (in my experience) it will find its tune, but may run slightly...

Also, if saw is 2.0 it usually wont have any markings from memory, but on the emmissions lable there will be an M3.0 if its 3.0, see on this ms261

If mtronic 2.0 its leave in choke for 90 sec and shut down, if 3.0 its choke for 30 sec then pin full throttle, it will rev limit at 3/4 speed til it has "set", usually another 30 sec. Good times to do reset are after filter swaps, i also usually start the day with a reset, so the saw acclimates...

Just picked these up as perks of working at a stihl dealer.... we get points for stuff from stihl for selling equipment... Both are not actuualy stihl, but Oxenkopf (spelling? LOL) built axes, 2500g pro splitter and the 600g hatchet

Welcome to the forum! As a side note, i have found when reassembling the stihl clamshell trimmers (fs38-70) that its much easier to do so with the shaft removed, and insert the shaft after you have all the screws part way in.

I told you that back in january... order the reamers, punch the brass insert under the phillips screw to the next larger size.... like i told you back in january....
