    New Stihl ms 300

In 10 years at a stihl shop, i have replaced many torn boots... out of all of them, only 1 mtronic saw had a piston worth running, (full disclosure, it was my ms661, and i immediately noticed the very slight rev hang and shut it down) because typically the piston was so scored that the saw...

    New Stihl ms 300

To someone knowledgeable yes... to the knuckle dragging apes that climb trees, its a deteiment, because they will only bring the saw in when saw no worky... saw no worky from boot tear on a carbed saw is a new boot....on an mtron its a $4-500 repair by the time you jug and slug it because its...

    New Stihl ms 300

500 isnt going anywhere any time soon.... dirty or not... they have enough "carbon credits" to keep the epa happy with both thier strato 2 stroke, 4 mix, and battery lines to offset a few non strato offerings like the 500 and ts910 and the like for a good long while...

    New Stihl ms 300

If it werent for the ham fisted knuckle dragging tree guys i wouldnt have a single mtron saw 🤣 they blow em up, i quote to fix, using oem parts the repair bills are steep... and they like having warranties... so they usually say keep it and use it for parts, i will buy a new one... so then i...

    New Stihl ms 300

From a user stand point, they are amazing. From a tech stand point, the mtrons are a pain in The arse... does it run? Yep... does it run right? Maybe.... how far has the carb self adjusted for the torn intake boot or pulse line that the end user didnt realize was an issue, because it still...

    New Stihl ms 300

Agreed.... no need or desire for FI in a chainsaw.... M-Tronic is complicated enough as it is.... (coming from 10 yrs of working at stihl shops, certified stihl tech, echo mastertech, owning 3 mtronic or predecessor saws, ms261cmb, ms280c and ms661cm) just give me a dang carb and some screws to...

Ms880 is gonna be using 14mm studs, which use the stihl 3002 mount bars, d025 is 12mm IIRC, And would be comperable to the 3003 mount of ms261-661

Any Chinese chainsaw and chinese parts discussion

Good luck... had a customer buy one last summer, by the time he couldnt figure out how to assemble it, about 1/3 of the screws were either stripped, or the plastic mounting points broken. Got it running for him, heavy, loud, and not entirely powerful would be my description... a stihl fs55 had...

    Gun range 2022,2023,2024,2025,2026

For the pricing that we are discussing (probably sub/around $200), i dont think any of those are an issue, as i am very mechanically inclined, and like to do a bit of smithing 🤣 as evidenced by my main carry being a gforce gf9 thats got more changed on it than is still stock.... 🤣 Bottom line...

Anyone have any opinions on the older colt mustang 380s? Have a coworker who bought it many moons ago, and has yet to even put a round thru it....and now is looking to clear up space/funds for something different.... i am interested for a pocket gun, or for a bag gun for the wife... i know 380...
