Actually it's an '85, but it's still a liquid cooled 6 speed. Engines are identical between'85 and '86.

I have another '85. That one I owned when I was in high school, sold it off in early 1997 and then 10-12 years later I got it back but in very sad condition. I did a frame up rebuild on that one. Engine is stock with carb, intake, and exhaust upgrades. Last pic is what she looked like when I wheeled her into the garage to get started. I have never had any true utility atvs, so I can't speak to the build quality of them. However I have had many many sport atvs, my favorite to date is a Yamaha Banshee. I had 3 of them, all built differently. The sound they make is amazing

No doubt they are amazing!

The banshee thing being said, I have also had many road bikes in my life and have come to enjoy all kinds of models from various manufacturers. Sounds stupid but one of my very favorite bikes was a 02 Honda shadow 750. It was my second smallest road bike, it was very well built. It always started, it always delivered consistent performance and looked and sounded good.

I guess what I'm saying is...buy what you like, none of them are awful. They just need to satisfy your requirements :)

Thats sweet like i said you ever wanna aell one let me know.also that 250r with ithe power to weight ratio will give that 350 banshee a run for its money.nothing against a banshee its a great bike but i have allways been partial to the 3 wheeler more monuverability and get in tighter areas

The 250r in the first pic I posted has a bit extra under the hood with that 350 big bore top end for sure. It is like night and day going from the big bore to the stocker. Crazy as it may sound, but the stockish 250r seems slow after running the big bore
