Echo CS-346. Quick tune up consisting of a new fuel filter and plug. Also removed and tossed the limiter caps. Waiting for the grommet that covers the needles and then she'll be for sale. Had to richen up the high side a bit as she was bogging pretty bad in the cut

In 1998 I needed a work car and strolled into a junkyard and drove out a 1973 green mercury Comet, strait 250 ,c6 , and an 8.8 rear.
I had big plans for that car but it was a great daily car. One thing I wanted in Pennsylvania was limited slip rear . Same yard I bought a 9 inch narrow rear from a bronco just like that for 150.00$ ! What a steal that was.

You on the east slope?

Yeah, I really like these 2511s. It doesn't take much to wake them up...they run so good stock, it's always surprising how much you can improve on them.

Been a busy couple of weeks in my basement shop, I blew up one of my 041AV Supers at Walts GTG back in October, got it back together and tested, now waiting on the worm gear seals and oil pump o-rings so I can seal up leaks on both of my 041AV Supers. Also got one of my 200T's back up to snuff (accelerator pump bypass) and one of 020T's back (several small issues), found Chinese fuel filter issues on two of my 034's (do NOT use Chinese fuel filters), new oil seals and brake flag on my 75 dolla 046, and got my MS880 back in business. Now waiting on a few smalls to get another one of my 020T's and my 084AV back together.

Oopsie....it was an old used OEM piston with a tad too much slop in her, hung a ring on the downstroke and, well, you know what happened next.....

All back together and better now. Had to use a Cross AM piston with Cabers (OEM 041AV Super pistons are hard to find).

The 880 ready to rock, two of my 041 Supers and my "Sausaged" P62......under the bench is my ported 051AV (which is a pretty damn good runner) and my 084AV (she's waiting for overhaul).

My first car was a 1974 Comet that I built with nickels and dimes, had alot of fun drag racing that car!

Now I have a nice 1971 Maverick Grabber with alot of work done to it, don't get it out much but it really takes me back in time when I do! She's like new (lots of mods though, including s 5 speed, roller motor and lots more), only has 72k on the odometer, was a southern car til I got it.
