Idk of anyone cares but the 028 oil pump seal is the same size as the 041 worm gear seal. Now if you can't find a listed 028 or 041 seal like i couldn't, good news is KTM has what you need if you want an oem quality seal. Size is 12x16x3. KTM part# 54632090000

If anyone was looking for decent bearings for an 041, here's the numbers I used:
SKF 6002c3 flywheel side
SKF 6202c3 clutch side
Oem crank seals, gaskets, etc are easily found so no worries there

this wheel is still pulling the chain / the worst thing was brought to me by a neighbor and he says that the chain is not spinning ;-)

Back together. Rest of the parts showed up today. This thing had .055 squish with a stock gasket so I trimmed the base a bit. Hopefully fire it up tomorrow

Broke a tap making a custom scrench.
Took a straight shaft grinder (dremel tool) and diamond laced burs to grind out the taps center.
Once I saw the 3 sided cutters clearing the hole I finally knew it would be a successful rescue and fix - took over an hour though.
Dang, 12.9 grade bolts are tough steel - I love it!

My favorite screnches 13mm side boogered out.
In addition to make a new custom scrench I also decided to save my OEM one.
I milled a 13mm "nut" into a 12.9 grade bolt section, cut the 13mm scrench side off, aligned the new 13mm nut to the scrench with a strong magnet and welded it on.
I think it will hold, and I hope it will endure.
