Was it the red armor?

No clue what the guy ran before me. Thinking it was set lean from factory or past owner when I got it so cant blame oil IMO. His mix was blue.
When I got I set it as fat as the stop allowed till I pulled the plastic tabs last weekend. But I think the damage was already done over winter by him. Ran fine and no signs of anything wrong with good psi starting. So never was a reason to check till muffler modding it.

562 XP for a good friend. New bottom end, cylinder and piston, EL48 carb with the latest firmware, updated fuel line, updated clutch, new worm gear and rim, new top cover with the extra vents, new top cover clips, new brake flag, new 25 micron air filter, and a new clutch cover.

Those orange mesh filters are a noticeable gain in power over the flocked ones. Almost as good as a muffler mod. I really like them. They also don’t tend to pass fines like the yellow ones do in dusty conditions.
