The HF bearing tool looks very similar, and is a bargain price! Mine works fine so far. I think Matt uses one also.

yeah i have one of them too. the bearing clamp on the husky gedore does better in my opinion. wife got it for me for christmas she cool like that lol

Did my most aggressive muff mod on a 660 yesterday, did not completely remove the baffle, but there is not much left of it. I think it adds some strength, so I don't fully take it out.

I used the Cross P&C w/o a base gasket, but I had to put a washer under the lower exhaust bolts for the first time, not sure why this one was different. (Similar to what they do on Hybrids, but only one small washer on each side).

Also, I think this was the first of the 3 that had the Oiler plugged so that I could not insert that rubber dohicky. Also had to bend the arm on the oiler a bit so it did not contact when it spins.

I also had to enlarge the plug hole in the plastic. The plug would fit, but you could not get a wrench on it, so now it has some extra room.

I also put some Vaseline in the cap washers. Seems every time I tighten a fuel cap on one, that washer stretches. Will see if this helps.

Until you try to weld Mag, you have no idea how difficult it is.

And the damn filler rods are $2-3 each.

I need to get a foredom, and some grinding goodies. Need to get my cross 660 cylinder cleaned up.

used a dental lab handpiece and my dremel ... I really didn't alter the upper transfers much... they were slightly uneven from one side to the other, so I evened them up

the intake pic above is around 75 deg. i did a touch more and it went to 80. i'll stay there.
