If the rings are free, that scratch on the piston may not hurt much. I'd be more worried if it were on the intake side.
Ring is free, and nothing on the intake side, but I’ll replace the piston just for good measure. It’ll make me feel better knowing it’s done. Lol

I had an 066 with similar piston damage. It ran just fine, but it bothered me, so I swapped out the P+C for the Cross P+C. It is the one on the HL Supply website.

I have since acquired another OEM 066 jug so I plan to put the Cross P+C on an AM frame and make the original 066 all OEM again (with a Meteor piston). Will give me an opportunity to practice my port work on both jugs.

Hey, no stealing Randy's stuff, that is why my stickers say "Mustang Mike Enhanced", but I also have saws with Randy's sticker!
