I had built this 2050 for a friend
Just a little bit of sealer. Ran a cylinder bolt in all of the holes and they are ok.Is that just a bit of sealer in the hole, on the flywheel side forward/front bolt hole or are the threads a little funny?
Bear in mind that my eyes are goofy now, so sometimes the digital photos can look strange to me.
Once I get home.Wow I gotta see inside the drawers. You must have a lot of spark plugs.
The chain would have been sharper if it was running backwards. That would be my guessWhat caused the issue David?
@huskihl
It's definitely getting pulse. Definitely an air leak as I can spray brake cleaner around the cylinder base and stall it. Gasket arrived in the mail today, and I'm swinging by ace hardware this evening on my way home for new cylinder to bearing cap screws. The symptoms I'm having are difficult to tune and not holding a tune.

I will have to check it then.@WillG Last one of those adapter plates I messed with was warped from new. I took and trued it up on a piece of glass with sticky sandpaper on it. Made it nice and flat and no leaks.
Got a bit of head on my second day!
Just kidding. She had a wicked tick. Replaced the exhaust gaskets, no better. Tore back apart and dug deeper. Found it.
